Lounge
This is the lounge area of the main flight deck level of the ship. Using a combination of screenshots from the movie I gradually measured up and scaled out the ship to near accurate proportions.

^.03
To Bar
Stepping out of the lounge, you are presented set of stairs leading up to the bar area. On your right is a sighing door and to the left is the flightdeck control floor. The Bar and Flightdeck areas are seperated by oddly placed rock walls. I suspect the movie creators wanted to create a natural look in the ship but I'd like to imagine it serves some kind of ferro-magnetic component of the ships engine.

^.04
Space Bar
Situated on a quarter level inbetween the top and bottom floors of the main flight deck. To the right are stairs leading to the top of the ship and kitchen.

^.05
Space Bar
You enter the space bar. A wall mounted drinks dispensor in a quaint corner of the ship, serving Pan Glactic Gargle Blasters and other famous galaxy-wide drinks.

^.06
Space Bar
The Syrius Cybernetics Coporation previously did not install any anti-tipping mechanism in the counter tops on the ship. ArtechFuz3D is proud to say that the ship now comes with anti-surface-tipping, so that you never lose your drink or meal. We are still working on keeping the food inside their vessels though.

We go up!

Here you can see the interior of the top-front of the ship where the flight deck is situated. The kitchen is on the upper level centered above the lounge and flight controls on the lower level

^.10
Corridor
Connecting the stairs we traversed and the kitchen is a corridor with a view and a half. A platform connects the kitchen with the upper floor above the flight controls.

^.11
Corridor
To the left, around the corner is the escape pod room. Im not sure what else is inside this section of the ship, so let's go into the kitchen.

Navigating to Kitchen
Starting to get hungry?

^.13
Enter the Kitchen
What a way to optimize a space! A center console draws you in with freshly toasted bread, toasted with a toasting knife.

^.14
Kitchen
Wall mounted appliances and shelving. Well, according to the lore it is shelving but I think it serves a way 'cooler' purpose as refrigeration units. We also have the 'Craving Detector & Dispensor.' Fancy a cup of tea?

^.15a

You turn around and are stunned with a view outside making you realise you are in space.

^.22

Dam! Damogran! It appears to be the planet where the ship was comendeered.

^.23
Upper Floor
Above the sighing doors is a large digital picture frame. You see the kitchen above the lounge, and stairs to your right.

^.24
Stairs
The main set of stairs connecting the lower and upper floors.

^.25
Stairs
Plant design by ArtechFuz3D. The original ship bolsters some unique fauna relevant to rendering correctly in filmography, but I thought they could use a fresh set of plants for this journey.

^.26
Planter Module
An extra close up view of the plant flowers, situated in a planter module fitted against the back wall, adjacent the main door on th eflight deck.

^.27

^.32
Flight Deck
Zooming back, we have a good view of the lounge, kitchen and bar areas. Blocked on either side by high mineral volcanic rock.

^.33
Flight Deck
Turning around, a high view within the flight deck. you can see the 4-6m long flight control module and a personal elevator connecting the flight deck to upper floor.

^.34
Flight Deck
The flight controls module features an array of controls, knobs, buttons, and user interface panels. Above the module another main panel is inset into the back wall.

.Testing render settings and AOR values in the glass shader, default values make the glass more refractive than anyone would be comfortable continuously looking at.

Small bump up in ambient lighting

^.37
Flight Deck
Comparing default light bounce values, I chose 'latte' color for the overall lighting hue to closer match the movie theme

Even lower glass AOR

^.40
Flight Deck
Lower glass AOR with default light bounce.

^.41
Flight Deck
Default AOR, low light bounce. The darker pictures also have extra internal lighting disabled in render. All lighting here is coming from objects in the ship that emmit light, such as screen panels, physical lighting and ambient light.

^.42
Flight Deck
The same, with lowered glass AOR.

^.43
Flight Deck
Extreme side close up of flight module looking toward the bar area. Only physical lights again but with increased light bounces.

^.44
Flight Deck
Lowered light bounces with physical lighting only. I am attempting to find a blance between ambient occlusion and brightness while still maintaining the color theme.

^.45
Flight Deck
Default lighting. As you can see the ship is well lit but overexposed and thus some occlusion detail is lost.

^.46
Flight Deck
Above the flight module, you can see some main throttle controls and the left joystick. Can you spot the improbability button?

^.47
Flight Deck
The same with lowered light values. The colors reflecting off the flowers and wall look great. The flight module has many different round lights which all are important for displaying messages visible from throughout the flight deck. This feature would become standard across spaceships galaxy wide.

^.48
Flight Deck
Centered high above the flight control module, here you see the many main controls of the ship including the infamous improbability drive button.

^.49
Flight Deck
The ship is currently in a state of normality, as depicted on the lower UI panel. Below the panel on the left are replaceable power modules, what I think are weapons on the right and a pair of foot pedals which purpose remains unknown.

^.50
